Welcome to the Ronin Wheelers of New England membership request page. Please take a moment to thoroughly read through this section to ensure that you provide the correct information on your membership application as well as choose the level of membership that best suits your needs.

As our home page states, we are a family based association that promotes full family participation in all association event, functions and activities and whereas we are a Co-Op style of management, all Full Members of the Association have an equal standing in what transpires with all Association business. Although we have no formal hierarchy, there are elected Coordinators and Joint Coordinators to help oversee the day to day operations of the Association.

Ronin Wheelers of New England currently has four (4) different levels of membership to hopefully suit the needs of all those interested in joining our Association. They are as follows:

Full Membership: (also known as Active Membership)

Full membership requirements are as follows; an applicant must hold a valid driver’s license, be at least 18 years of age, have an ORV that is deemed to be off road worthy and whose residence is not so far as to hinder active participation. Full membership includes the member’s spouse and any minor children under the age of 18 who resides at the same address, unless said minor child has been established as a Junior Member. Full members are subject to the following:

1. Full members are required to pay a one-time membership fee and quarterly membership dues.



2. Full members are allowed to participate in all association events, functions and activities.



3. Full members possess the right to vote in all Association matters.

Associate Membership:

Associate membership is designed for those that wish to support our Association but who are not eligible for full membership or cannot participate in the day to day activities by virtue of his or her place of residence, lack of an appropriate ORV or lack of a valid driver’s license. Associate Members are subject to the following:

1. Associate Members are not eligible to cast votes in any Association business or activities.



2. Associate Members are not required to pay membership fees or quarterly dues.



3. Associate Members may not be allowed to participate in certain Association events, functions or activities.

Apprentice Membership:

Apprentice membership is designed for any person who is interested in learning about ORV’s and their use but who does not possess the necessary requirements for full membership or would like the opportunity to learn more about ORV Off-Roading before applying for full membership. Apprentice memberships are subject to the following:

1. Apprentice Members are eligible for a reduced rate dues privilege.



2. Apprentice Members you are not entitled to cast a vote in any Association business or activities.

Junior Membership:

Junior membership is designed for any person who is not eligible for Full Membership by virtue of his or her age and who is 17 years of age or younger, provided however that a parent or legal guardian is currently a full member of the association. Junior memberships are subject to the following:

1. Junior Members are not required to pay membership fees and dues until such time that they achieve full membership status.



2. As a Junior Member you are not entitled to cast a vote in any Association business or activities.

Membership Fee and Membership Dues:

A onetime membership fee of $30.00 will be required for all new members with continuing quarterly membership dues from that point forward.

1. A membership will be deemed effective upon receipt of the onetime membership fee.



2. Upon receipt of the onetime membership fee the new member will receive his or her Ronin Wheelers decal.

The dues of Membership shall be $15.00 quarterly, payable in advance at the beginning of each quarter.  Members choosing to pay dues for one or more years in advance, but for no more than five years, shall be entitled to a discounted membership rate in the amount of $50.00 annually. To qualify for the discounted rate a member must pay a minimum of one year in advance.

Membership dues for new members will be deemed in effect for the current quarter of their membership if their effective membership date falls within the first half of the current quarter. If their membership date falls within the second half of the current quarter they will not be required to pay membership dues until the beginning of the next quarter.

Upon request, the Association is authorized to maintain membership privileges at a reduced rate of 50% for the duration of a member’s Active Military status, including but not limited to, active Reserve Military duty and/or a member’s continued enrollment in higher education, including but not limited to part time enrollment in night and weekend classes. Online courses are excluded from this reduces rate privilege.

The Association has established a reduced dues rate for all Apprentice Members. Apprentice members will only be required to pay 50% of the membership fee and quarterly dues until such time that they achieve full membership. Apprentice members will not receive a club decal until they achieve full membership and pay the remaining 50% of the full membership fee.
