Who are the Ronin Wheelers of New England

Ronin Wheelers of New England (formerly Ronin Wheelers of Rhode Island) was founded by a small bunch of guys (and gals) that own Jeeps and used to belong to another 4x4 club. Having become increasingly discouraged with the hierarchy of the other clubs and all the politics (read B.S.) that were transpiring within, not to mention the lack of concern for the quality of the club itself and the well being of its members, this small but determined bunch set out on their own to develop not yet another "club" but simply an organization of fellow Jeep and 4X4 enthusiasts that share their love for free open wheeling and are dedicated to the well being of others less fortunate.

We do not believe in the principle of hierarchy. We have no president. We have no vice president or any other cabinet members for that matter but what we do have is a loyal and dedicated group of individuals whose sole purpose is to belong to an organization of people who are all treated as equals, who all participate in the goings on of the organization and a group of individuals that join together in a time of crisis and help out fellow wheelers and others in times of need.

Our "Motto" is simple: Quality Not Quantity

Our "Goal" is simple: To have the most fun wheeling humanly possible , to create a close knit organization of friends along the way and to help provide for people in need.

This is an organization of fun for the whole family and our commitment to our motto and our responsibility to our members dictates that our number will be limited but our fun and excitement will be endless. We are more than just a group of people that go wheeling whenever the mood strikes. Although our primary focus is Charity Events, we also engage in fishing trips, cookouts, poker runs, geocashing, camping trips, and much more. We are not about the money but about the friendships and comradery we develop along the way. We organize "Tech Days" in which we get together to assist each other with the up-keep and maintenance of our rigs as well as share thoughts and ideas about improvements and ways to cut costs of these repairs and improvements. We strive to be the best free wheelers we can.

Although limited, membership is simple. First you must have some form of 4X4 that is off-road capable. Second, you must be at least 18 years of age. Third, you must have a valid drivers license. Fourth, you must want to belong to the best free wheeling organization there is. And finally, you must be accepted by all other members of the organization.

Special thanks to Kevin from "RONIN Wheelers of Colorado " for allowing us to affiliate with his organization.
